Expanders® are custom-built expandable buildings — not converted shipping containers. Specifications, inclusions and dimensions listed on this website are for the standard configuration of each model and may vary with selected options.
Consenting
Whether a building consent is required depends on the intended use, location and size. In many cases our units can be placed as sleepouts or ancillary buildings without full building consent, but planning rules vary by council. We recommend contacting your local council early.
Delivery & site
Delivery cost depends on region and access. Site preparation (level pad, connections) is the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
